The Source is a raw dessert company based out of Costa Mesa, California with an emphasis on pure, organic ingredients. We eliminate the use of refined sugars + preservatives and instead use nothing but the best quality organic, plant based ingredients we can get our hands on. Our desserts are nutrient rich and good for you, so there’s no need to feel guilt when you eat them!
We truly believe the best way to improve your health is by first improving the way you eat. This is why our desserts are packed with an abundance of real, pure, seasonal ingredients. These days, it is hard to find foods without artificial colors, preservatives, and that aren’t highly processed. Unless you are making it yourself, these foods, especially desserts, are not readily available. We created The Source to fill this void in the market.
Our desserts are vegan and gluten free with the exception of oats, which makes them suitable for most individuals with allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances. Additionally, we avoid all filler ingredients and use only 100% plant based whole foods. All of the decadence of cake, none of the empty calories. Our goal is to get as much good in so that you can get the most good out.
We only use whole ingredients that are in their most natural state, such as nuts, nut milks, raw cacao powder/ cacao butter, fruits and coconut products. If you are looking for a nut-free cake, please contact us as we can make nut-free products but keep in mind that we do use all types of nuts and nut products in our facility so if you have any severe nut allergies, steer clear of our products for your safety.
Cakes can be kept refrigerated for up to one week and frozen for up to 2 months.
How we top our cakes varies from season to season and is up to our discretion. If there is something specific you would like, like florals on your cake, please let us know via the comments section of our order form and we will try to accommodate. Bare in mind that it may not always be possible to get exact colors and/or toppings.
